On November 16 we had Todd Ramsay, the owner and chief creative officer of Yeti Farm come speak to us. Yeti Farm is an animation studio based out of Kelowna. They have made many cartoons over the years including; Pete the Cat, Hotel Transylvania Series, Dorg Van Dango, Rocket Monkeys and a new soon to be released cartoon called Summer Memories. During his presentation Todd told us about how he got into the industry and some insider knowledge he has gained throughout the years. What struck me most in the beginning was him stating he wasn't the best artist, and his difficulty getting his first job and how much he needed to put himself out there.
